Location

Blue Summit Cottages are in the Hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, an area steeped in natural beauty, history and tranquility. All cottages are perched high on an escarpment with views down over the beautiful Conondale Ranges. Our bed and breakfast is situated near the main Sunshine Coast Hinterland tourist route, off Maleny Kenilworth Road.

A picturesque and easy 1km walk, or a short drive, will take you to Maudy's Restaurant, a favourite with locals and tourists alike.

Maleny

An 8km drive along the peak of rolling green hills will take you to historical Maleny, a fascinating mix of the arts, and local produce - with co-operatives, rural life, award-winning restaurants, wineries, cheese factory and markets. A variety of walks are available for all levels of fitness. There is never a dull season with festivals all year round, and the natural beauty and friendly locals make it a popular area for weddings, family reunions and any special occasion.

Sunshine Coast

Blue Summit Cottages hinterland accommodation is 75 minutes drive north of Brisbane and Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is a picturesque 30 minute drive away. An easy 40 minutes drive will take you to Maroochydore, the centre of the Sunshine Coast, with wonderful beaches, restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions and markets. The choices make for a complete and memorable getaway for couples.
