Welcome to the newest Maleny accommodation in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, your hosts: Bruce & Lyn MacRae

“On a romantic weekend escape it’s the thoughtful, subtle touches that make the difference between good and sublime. From the moment we stepped into our accommodation at Blue Summit Cottages, the newest bed-and-breakfast provider near the Sunshine Coast Hinterland village of Maleny, we knew it was going to be something special.” |

We offer you the choice of three peaceful self-contained Cottages equipped with the latest in comfort, décor and appliances, ensuring our guests will feel pampered and special. Our area in the hinterland of Australia's Sunshine Coast near Maleny is unique, steeped in history, natural beauty and tranquillity.
Nestled on the slope of the Blackall Range's western escarpment, our cottages all enjoy spectacular panoramic views. Each season comes with differing vistas morning and early evening, from mist shrouded peaks, colourful rainbows, golden cloud formations and magnificent sunsets. The large verandah is the perfect place to sit back, enjoy a good wine, and soak it all in.
Our Cottages
Our cottages are themed for the beautiful bird life in the area, are luxurious, private and self-contained. Their features include a double masseur spa bath, king size bed, easy-to-operate, environmentally-friendly gas-fired log fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen. Each has a balcony with BBQ and beautiful, uninterrupted views. The cottages are designed for couples, and one has wheelchair access. A generous breakfast hamper will be supplied, and we are happy to cater for special dietary requirements.
