Top Ten Things to do in Montville

Kondalilla Falls
This amazing nature reserve offers waterfalls, rainforests and walks of different lengths, including the 58km Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk. There’s also camping and picnic opportunities. Call 0754596110.

Baroon Pocket Dam
Lake Baroon (AKA Pocket Dam) is a recreation lake that allows electric boats and paddlecraft onto its waters. There’s also fishing, swimming and walking opportunities. It’s located in between Montville and Maleny.

Montville Art and Design
Newly-opened, this hip art venue features works by famous Australian and New Zealand artists. It also sells art, handmade jewellery and amazing merino scarves. Call 0417635078.

Flame Hill Vineyard
This friendly little vineyard offers friendly and informative wine tours and tastings, as well as a grape “Stomp” at the end of every February. Call 0754785920.

The Sunshine Coast Great Walk
Although the whole track is 58km long, you can pick up and drop the trail at several entrance and exit points to make it as short or as long as you want.
